And these are just a few of its benefits so I think it’s safe to say coconut oil rocks!
As for the lesser known Baobab it is a superfood fruit grown on Africa’s “Tree of Life”. It has a lemony flavor and is very rich in Vitamin C and contains more antioxidants than any other whole fruit so a great immune booster. It contains a lot of fiber thereby keeping your blood sugar nice and even making it a great food for Diabetics. It is surprisingly considered to be one of the most alkaline foods and last but not least it is great for digestion and functions as a pre-biotic feeding all your good bacteria.
Lucuma is a nutritious fruit from Peru called the “Gold of the Incas”. It contains beta-carotene, iron, zinc, Vit B3, calcium and protein. Recent research has found it is great for blood sugar, skin and the cardiovascular system. Although it has a distinct sweet caramel taste it has a low GL and therefore can be enjoyed by diabetics.
Chlorella is one of the most nutrient-dense superfoods out there even beating kale, spinach and broccoli. It is super alkaline due to its high mineral content. As with coconut oil and baobab, it is also immune boosting and antiaging. It also promotes weight loss, keeps your blood sugar stable and is a good source of protein.
Raw honey used to sweeten these coconut delights is both an antioxidant and immune booster and surprisingly great for weight loss too!
Can a treat be healthier than this?? An immune boosting, weight loss promoting, blood sugar balancing, anti-aging, muscle building superfoodilicious treat!
I think not J
